Digital Trust
Prof. Paul Manuel
Now cybersecurity is no longer viewed as a business issue and it has become a national issue. Thus, digital trust is important now more than ever. Digital Trust is a concept that enables users to carry out business transactions in a safe, secure, ethical and reliable manner. Digital trust is two-way but not mutual. The bidirectional trust is classified as (1) Users trusting IS (2) IS trusting Users. While studying “Users trusting IS”, we analyze the metrics to measure digital trust. We investigate how the metrics are classified as independent and dependent variables. While studying “IS trusting Users”, we discuss zero-trust architecture.
